Frequently asked questions

Question 1

How much does a cleaning company cost in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

The rate depends on three factors: frequency (a weekly slot is cheaper per hour than a one-off), the task mix (linen, ironing, windows or deep degreasing), and the area — Taghazout and Tamraght add travel time while Founty stays standard. Rates are given on request: the firm quote comes after a visit or a set of photos, and we send photo confirmation after each job.

Question 2

Who does Airbnb cleaning and key handover in Taghazout?

Accepted Answer

A local concierge handles turnover cleaning (1.5–3 hours depending on size), linen replacement, key handover and a 25-point check between guests, with photos sent on WhatsApp after every rotation so you can approve remotely. The per-turnover rate is confirmed in the quote. A same-day turnover needs confirmation before 11:00 so the flat is ready for a 15:00 check-in; back-to-back bookings in Taghazout and Tamraght are planned with the nearest available team, usually within 35 minutes of the surf zones.

Question 3

How do I look after a villa in Agadir while I am abroad?

Accepted Answer

A monthly caretaking contract covers weekly visits, water and electricity checks, ventilation, pool and garden oversight, plus a photo report after each visit — the monthly rate depends on villa size and visit frequency. Guarding (a resident agent) can be added when the property sits empty for months, which is common for villas in Founty, Hay Aghroud and the Taghazout bay between seasons. Standing orders are written in a logbook you can read remotely, and any anomaly triggers a WhatsApp alert the same day.

Question 4

Is private security guarding legal in Morocco for a villa?

Accepted Answer

Yes, through a licensed private security company — individuals cannot employ armed guards for a home, and hiring informal guards leaves you without insurance coverage in case of an incident. Before signing, ask for the company's authorisation number (agrément), a liability insurance certificate, and the agents' professional cards. Legitimate providers also keep a written logbook of rounds and incidents. Monthly rates for a villa agent are confirmed at signature; a 24/7 post requires two agents on rotation.

Question 5

How long does post-construction cleaning take?

Accepted Answer

One day for an 80 m² flat, two to three days for a villa, five to ten days for a ten-unit building — depending on residue load. Cement film, plaster drops and adhesive stains are what stretch the schedule, since each surface needs mechanical scraping before washing. The sequence is always the same: debris removal, dry dusting, wet cleaning top-down, then glass and joinery last. The per-m² rate is stated in the quote after inspection. Photos before and after are sent on WhatsApp, and a final inspection with you (or your site manager) closes the job.

Question 6

How long does a sofa take to dry after cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Four to eight hours with hot-water extraction and cross ventilation, up to 24 hours in winter or in a closed, humid room — coastal air in Agadir slows drying between October and March. We use an injection-extraction machine, which removes most of the moisture in the same pass as the dirt; a second dry pass shortens the wait. Avoid sitting on the sofa for the first six hours and open windows during the day. Prices are quoted per seat module after photos, since fabric type (velvet, linen, microfibre) changes the product and the drying time.

Question 7

Do you have English-speaking staff in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the concierge team works in French, Arabic and English, which matters for short-term rental owners and expats who are not in Morocco year-round. Everything happens on WhatsApp: you describe the job, send photos, receive a reply within 24 hours, then a firm quote once we have seen the property or the photos, and get photo confirmation after each visit. Written standing orders (for caretaking or Airbnb turnovers) are kept in English so nothing is lost in translation between you and the team on the ground.

Question 8

What does a villa guard cost per month in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

The monthly rate for a resident or daily-visit villa guard depends on living arrangements, night patrols and pool/garden oversight; commercial and construction-site posts are quoted on schedules and risk. A 24/7 post needs two agents on rotation. The rate includes the agent's equipment, a written patrol log, and a daily photo report for remote owners. Verify the company's authorisation (agrément) and liability insurance before signing; both are part of our standard contract pack.

Question 9

How long does a 200 m² villa cleaning take?

Accepted Answer

Plan 4–6 hours with one cleaner, or 2–3 hours with a small team for a full clean of a 200 m² villa. A weekly maintenance visit is lighter: 2–3 hours. Deep cleans after months of vacancy (limescale, dust on every sill, greasy kitchen) are quoted separately, usually at the top of the range with one extra hour per wet room. Photos of the finished rooms are sent on WhatsApp, so absent owners can verify without travelling. The quote states the expected duration before the visit.

Question 10

How often should an Agadir apartment be cleaned?

Accepted Answer

Plan 30–45 min/week for a dusting-and-wipe routine, and a full visit every 2–4 weeks for an occupied flat — Agadir's dry, dusty climate pushes towards the shorter interval, especially for flats facing the sea or a road. A standard weekly visit (2 hours) covers kitchen, bathrooms, floors and surfaces; linen and ironing add roughly a third to the time. Airbnb flats follow a different rhythm: cleaning per turnover plus a monthly deep clean for reviews' sake.

Question 11

What is the office-cleaning rate in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

The per-m² rate differs between a regular contract and a one-off visit; the quote is firm after an audit of surfaces, opening hours and included services (bins, glass, kitchenette, sanitaries). A typical quote for a 150 m² office covers three visits a week. Annual contracts include a monthly control visit and product data sheets on request. Teams work before opening or after closing, with a signed key register — no document is ever moved on desks.

Question 12

How many guards does a building site need?

Accepted Answer

One or two daytime agents for small sites, plus one night guard when valuable equipment or materials are stored on site. A 24/7 presence on a mechanical site is quoted per month with two agents on rotation. The night agent keeps a written patrol log with hourly entries, coordinates with local police on incidents, and limits site access to named workers. References from developers and the agency's agrément should be part of the contract pack before mobilisation.

Question 13

Do you offer eco-friendly cleaning products?

Accepted Answer

Yes: vinegar, black soap (savon noir) and plant-based detergents at no extra cost, on request when booking. The trade-off is drying time — eco products act a bit slower than solvent-based ones, and limescale in Agadir's water means bathrooms need a longer soak. It is the right choice for allergies, babies and pets, and for seaside flats where ventilation carries product smells into bedrooms. Standard products remain available on request; either way, the product list used in your home is documented on the quote.

Question 14

What is the nearest slot in your neighbourhood?

Accepted Answer

Our 28 covered zones have a published response time (10–45 min): Founty about 10 minutes, Talborjt about 20, Anza and Tassila about 25–30, Taghazout and Tamraght about 35–45. A standard housekeeping slot is usually available within 48 hours; post-construction and deep-cleaning jobs are scheduled within the week, since they need a team of two or more. Send your address or a pinned location on WhatsApp with photos of the rooms — you get the nearest team and the exact slot, and the firm quote follows once we have seen the property or the photos.

Question 15

How much does garden maintenance cost in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

Expect 300 to 700 MAD per visit for a villa garden, depending on surface, hedge height and access. A monthly contract (two to four visits) costs less per visit than a one-off job. The firm price is given after a visit or photos, with green-waste removal included.

Question 16

How often should a lawn be mown in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

Every two weeks from April to October, once a month in winter: grass grows with heat and watering. Never cut more than a third of the height, or the lawn burns. A fortnightly visit is enough for most villas in Founty or Taghazout.

Question 17

When should hedges be trimmed in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

A shaping cut in late winter (February-March) and a second after the summer growth (September). Bougainvillea is pruned after flowering, not during. Quotes are per linear metre, with or without removal of cuttings.

Question 18

Do I need a permit to prune a tree in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

On private property, routine pruning needs no permit. Felling a large tree, or any work on a tree in the public domain, falls under the municipality. We check the tree's status before quoting and work with safety equipment.

Question 19

Does automatic irrigation work with Agadir mains water?

Accepted Answer

Yes, provided the system has a filter and a suitable controller: mains water is hard and can clog drippers. We fit a filter at the head of the network and set cycles for early morning to limit evaporation. Installation starts around 2,500 MAD for a small garden.

Question 20

Can pool and garden care be combined in one contract?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A villa plan combines garden maintenance with weekly pool care, one contact person and a photo report after each visit. It is the most requested plan for villas in Founty, Haut Founty and Taghazout.

Question 21

Do you create gardens for villas and riads in Agadir?

Accepted Answer

Yes: soil preparation, lawn, mulching, Mediterranean planting and integrated irrigation. Projects are quoted in stages, from 8,000 MAD for a courtyard or small garden. We hand over a planting plan and a watering calendar.
